The Office of the Market Committee, Sargodha has officially announced job opportunities for the recruitment of daily paid and contingent paid staff for the financial year 2026-27. Applications are invited from eligible candidates holding a domicile of the Punjab province. However, preference will be given to local residents of the Sargodha division.

These positions are temporary and will be filled on a daily wages basis according to the prescribed schedule of rates. If you meet the required qualification and age criteria, this is an excellent opportunity to work within a public sector municipal body.

Terms & Conditions

• Recruitment Guidelines: Hiring of work-charge/contingent paid staff will be strictly based on merit, capability, and skill set according to the Punjab Market Committee Regulations 2026.

• Job Nature & Tenure: The appointments are purely temporary and on a work-charge basis under Clause 18(8) of Punjab Market Committees Regulations 2026 for a maximum period of 75 days. This contract carries absolutely no right to permanent regularization.

• Wages/Salary: Payments will be processed according to the Daily Schedule of Rates (Wages Rates) 2025 approved by the Finance Department, Government of Punjab.

• Duty Deployment: Selected contingent paid staff can be deployed at any market, sub-market, or notified area under the jurisdiction of the Market Committee Sargodha as per requirements.

• Leave Policy: Leave without prior written permission or advance notification is strictly prohibited.

• Termination: The competent authority reserves the right to terminate the services of any work-charge/contingent staff member at any time without prior notice.
