Mines & Minerals Department Punjab Jobs 2026 – Apply for PMU Staff Positions

The Directorate General of Mines & Minerals, Punjab, has announced new career opportunities for the Project Management Unit (PMU) in Lahore. These positions are for the project titled "Economic Prospective of Coal, Iron Ore, Limestone and other Industrial Minerals in Koh-e-Suleman, Dera Ghazi Khan Division."

Available Vacancies & Eligibility Criteria

The department is seeking professionals for the following roles. The general age limit is 25-35 years, with age relaxation of +5 years for males and +8 years for females.

1. Field Geologist (PPS-8)

• Salary: PKR 250,000 (Lump Sum)

• Education: B.S. Applied Geology from an HEC-recognized university.

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

2. GIS Mapping Officer (PPS-8)

• Salary: PKR 250,000 (Lump Sum)

• Education: B.S. GIS/Space Science/Remote Sensing/Geomatics/Geography.

• Experience: 5 years in a related field. Drone technology experience is a plus.

3. Drone Operator (PPS-6)

• Salary: PKR 150,000 (Lump Sum)

• Education: B.S. GIS/Remote Sensing/Geomatics/Geography.

• Experience: 2 years of relevant experience with proven drone technology skills.

4. Surveyor (PPS-06)

• Salary: PKR 100,000 (Lump Sum)

• Education: DAE Civil from a recognized college.

• Experience: Minimum 3 years in a related field.

5. IT Support Assistant (PPS-05)

• Salary: PKR 70,000 (Lump Sum)

• Education: Matriculation with a 6-month Computer Science Diploma.

• Experience: 5 years in IT (Software & Hardware).

6. Support Staff (Driver & Field Man)

• Driver (PPS-03): PKR 55,000. Under Matric with a valid LTV/HTV license and 5 years experience.

• Field Man (PPS-02): PKR 50,000. Under Matric and physically fit.
