The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) in Islamabad has officially announced a high-profile vacancy for the position of Public Diplomacy Coordinator (MP-II). This prestigious appointment is on a contract basis under the Management Position (MP) Scales Policy, looking for an experienced professional to lead strategic communications and international public relations for the state.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following rigorous academic and professional standards to qualify for the position:

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Option A: Ph.D. in Public Diplomacy, Media Management, Communication, Journalism, or a closely related subject, accompanied by a minimum of 05 years of professional experience in the relevant field.

• Option B: Master’s Degree in Public Diplomacy, Media Management, Communication, Journalism, or a closely related subject, accompanied by a minimum of 07 years of professional experience in the relevant field.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 62 Years (calculated as of the closing date for application submissions).

Contract Tenure & Salary Package

Tenure of Contract

• Initial Period: Three (03) years.

• Extension: Further extendable for a maximum period of two (02) years on an annual basis, subject to highly satisfactory performance.

Premium Pay Package

The selected candidate will be compensated according to the MP Scale-II of the MP Scales Policy 2020:

• Basic Pay: Rs. 263,180/- per month

• Annual Increment: Rs. 39,480/-

• House Rent Allowance: Rs. 95,700/- per month

• Utilities Charges: Rs. 11,970/- per month
