Municipal Committee Lalamusa, under the Local Government and Community Development Department, Government of the Punjab, has released an official recruitment advertisement. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for Driver posts on a work charge / daily wage basis.

Candidates holding Punjab domicile with relevant driving experience and valid HTV/LTV driving licenses are encouraged to apply before the specified deadline.

Terms & Conditions

• Employment Nature: Appointments will be made purely on a temporary work charge / daily wage basis for a specified tenure mentioned in the appointment letter. The appointment will terminate automatically upon completion of the tenure without any separate notice.

• Extension & Wages: Service extension may be granted based on needs or government directions. Daily wages will be paid strictly according to the schedule set by the Finance Department, Government of the Punjab.

• Domicile & Preference: Candidates must be domiciled in Punjab. Preference will be given to local residents of District Gujrat.

• Physical Fitness & Experience: Applicants must be healthy and physically fit. Preference will be given to candidates with prior work experience and a proven good track record in similar roles.

• Selection Committee Authority: The decision of the Selection Committee will be final and cannot be challenged in any court or forum.

• Interview / Physical Test Call Letters: No separate call letters will be issued for tests or interviews. Candidates must bring their original documents to the test/interview.

• Merit List / Waiting Pool: A merit list valid for one year will be prepared based on received applications, from which temporary placements can be made as per government directives.

• TA/DA: No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the test or interview.

   • Attested copies of educational certificates/degrees (Matriculation)

   • Attested copy of valid Driving License (HTV/LTV)

• Application Deadline: Complete applications must reach the office on or before August 27, 2026. Applications received after the due date will be rejected.

• Interview & Physical Test Date: Interviews and physical tests will take place on August 29, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Office of the Chief Municipal Officer (Infra), Municipal Committee Lalamusa.
