• Position Title: Assistant Director (Database Security)

• Job Location: Islamabad (NADRA Headquarters, G-5/2)

• Maximum Age Limit: 37 Years

• Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree (4 Years) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Information Security, or Electrical/Electronics Engineering.

  • Equivalent information security certifications or a degree in a related field from an HEC-recognized university (degrees must be attested by HEC).

• Professional Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in a reputable organization handling Information Security, IT, Database Administration, or Network Device Administration.

  • Certifications in any IBM Security Product or equivalent (such as CySA+, Data+) will be preferred.

• Key Responsibilities & Competencies:

  • Installation, configuration, and setup of Guardium appliances for database activity monitoring and protection.

  • Installation of Guardium agents on database servers with necessary configurations for log collection.

  • Timely patching of Guardium appliances and license renewals.

  • Monitoring and evaluating database incidents via IBM Guardium data monitoring and protection tools.

  • Performing data discovery and classification with stakeholders to prioritize security implementations.

  • Monitoring and auditing all database activity, including privileged user accounts and analytics of existing logs.

  • Ensuring backup, disaster recovery, and robust data protection mechanisms.

Terms and Conditions

• Probation Period: Selected candidates will undergo an initial probationary period of 6 months, during which their performance will be evaluated for potential extension.

• Management Rights: The management holds the unconditional right to stop or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.

• Shortlisting & Interviews: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews. If any information provided by an applicant is later found to be incorrect or fake, their candidature will be immediately rejected.

• Government Employees: Serving government employees must provide a proper No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of interview.

• Document Verification: Educational documents will be verified through HEC or relevant regulatory bodies during the interview stage.

• Mandatory Certificates: Selected candidates must produce a Medical Fitness Certificate and a Character Certificate prior to joining.
