The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), functioning under the Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control, Government of Pakistan, is inviting applications from highly skilled and experienced professionals for IT and technical roles. Under Regulations 9, 10, and 11 of the NADRA Employees (Service) Regulations, 2002, NADRA seeks eligible candidates to support its IT infrastructure, network operations, and technical services across key districts in the Quetta Region. • Deputy Assistant Director (Technical)

  • Job Location: Quetta Region (Barkhan, Sibbi, Zhob, Chaghi, & Pishin)

  • Maximum Age: 30 Years (5 years' relaxation in upper age limit is already included)

  • Educational Qualification:

    • Bachelor's (4 Years) in Computer Sciences / Information Technology / Software Engineering or equivalent in a related field from an HEC-recognized university (degrees must be attested by HEC).

    • Master's degree will be preferred.

  • Professional Experience & Certifications:

    • Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience in operations of IT infrastructure, communication, and networks.

    • Certifications in CCNA, Cyber Security, and Active Directory are preferred.

  • Key Responsibilities & Competencies:

    • Administer and maintain server/client machines for optimal performance.

    • Troubleshoot web-based applications, software, hardware, and peripheral devices.

    • Provide technical support for login, authentication, and access-related issues.

    • Perform patch management, system updates, and antivirus definition updates across client and server systems.

    • Conduct LAN connectivity troubleshooting (cabling, switch port configuration) and deliver 24/7 technical support.

    • Configure and support routing, switching, firewalls, VLANs, VPN technologies, DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory.

    • Perform pre-deployment readiness checks and participate in technical evaluation of tenders.

Terms & Conditions

• Contract & Probation: The selected candidate will be hired on a contract basis with a 6-month probation period (extendable if required).

• Management Authority: Management reserves the right to withhold/cancel the recruitment process and accept or reject any application at any stage without assigning any reason.

• Shortlisting: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.

• Disqualification: Providing false information will result in immediate disqualification.

• Government Servants: Employees serving in Government/Semi-Government departments must provide/attach a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of submission of application.

• Age Relaxation: The 5 years' relaxation in upper age limit is already included in the maximum age limit of 30 years.

• Medical Fitness & Character: Selected candidates shall provide Medical Fitness and Character Certificates.

• TA/DA: No TA/DA will be admissible for test or interview.

• Degree Attestation: Attested degrees from HEC/relevant regulatory bodies must be provided at the time of interview.
