The National Agri-Trade and Food Safety Authority (NAFSA) Pakistan, a federal regulatory authority established under the NAFSA Act 2026, is inviting applications from highly qualified and experienced professionals for a executive leadership position. Reporting to the Deputy Director General (Operations Wing), the Director will lead NAFSA's International Trade Compliance (ITC) Division to enforce SPS measures and quarantine controls across designated seaports, airports, dry ports, and land borders.

This executive position offers an exceptional career opportunity for senior regulatory and agricultural trade experts to shape Pakistan's national SPS compliance, import controls, and export certification frameworks in alignment with international standards (WTO, Codex Alimentarius, WOAH, IPPC).

Terms & Conditions

  • Employment Type: Fixed-Term Contract for three (03) years.

  • Job Location: Karachi.

  • Salary & Compensation: Gross Fixed Salary Range (NPS-5 Band) PKR 840,169 – 1,151,031 per month, plus mobile/fuel allowances, festive allowance, performance bonus, medical coverage, CBS contribution, and life insurance.

  • Educational Qualification: Master’s degree (minimum 16 years of education) in Veterinary Sciences, Plant Protection / Plant Quarantine, Food Safety / Food Science, Agriculture, Public Administration, Management, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized institution.

  • Professional Experience: Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in regulatory operations, border/port operations, inspection and quarantine services, or certification systems, including at least 5 years in a supervisory or management role.
