The National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) has announced several career opportunities for Information Technology professionals based in Karachi. The positions are offered on a contractual basis for three years, with the possibility of renewal at the discretion of management.


Available Positions & Requirements

The bank is seeking candidates for the following four roles:

1. Senior SharePoint Specialist (AVP / VP)

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent from an HEC recognized institute.

  • Experience: At least 05 years in IT, with 03 years specifically in Software/Application Development and SharePoint Development.

  • Key Skills: Sound knowledge of SharePoint Development/Administration (online and on-premises), Windows operating systems, SQL Server, and Power Platforms (Power BI, Power Automate).

2. Senior Process Analyst (OG-I / AVP)

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.

  • Experience: Minimum 04 years in IT, with at least 02 years as a Business/System/Process Analyst or Software Engineer.

  • Focus: Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, and designing/modernizing systems.

3. NOC Support Officer (OG-III / OG-II)

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.

  • Experience: Minimum 02 years in IT infrastructure, including 01 year managing Data Center and NOC operations in an enterprise environment.

  • Key Skills: Proficiency in Network Monitoring tools (preferably SolarWinds) and willingness to monitor 24/7 Data Center operations.

4. IT Application Support Officer (OG-III / OG-II)

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.

  • Experience: Minimum 02 years in IT, with at least 01 year in IT Application support and operations, preferably in a bank.

  • Key Skills: Ability to analyze EOD/batch processes, write SQL scripts for data extraction, and provide technical support to business end-users.
