General Eligibility & Requirements

To qualify for this senior-level role, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Educational Background: Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university recognized by the HEC of Pakistan.

  • Preferred Fields: Statistics, Finance, Economics, or Actuarial Sciences.

  • Advantage: Candidates with a first-class Bachelor's, a Master’s degree, or relevant professional certifications will be preferred.

• Professional Experience: * A minimum of 10 years of experience in a Financial Institution or Audit Firm.

  • At least 05 years of this experience must be specifically in Enterprise Risk Management, with a preference for expertise in risk assessment, capital planning, or model risk management.

• Technical Skills: * Strong analytical aptitude for quantitative analysis and awareness of economic factors.

  • Knowledge of risk controls, regulatory requirements, and SBP stress testing guidelines.

  • Proficiency in automation and risk modeling using programming languages such as R, Matlab, or Python.

  • Familiarity with IFRS-9, ICAAP, and Recovery Plan documentation.

• Employment Type: The position is offered on a contractual basis for three years, renewable at the discretion of Management.

• Location: The role is based at the NBP Head Office in Karachi.
