General Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for these procurement-based positions, candidates must meet the following baseline requirements:

• Educational Qualifications: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) from an HEC-recognized institute or university is required. Candidates possessing a Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications will be given preference.

• Experience:

  • Department Head: Requires at least 6 years of experience in the procurement of goods and services, with a minimum of 2 years specifically in managing procurement through the tendering process.

  • Procurement Officer: Requires at least 3 years of experience in procurement within the banking sector, multinational corporations (MNCs), conglomerates, or public sector organizations. Experience with PPRA rules is highly preferred.

• Essential Skills:

  • Strong administrative and interpersonal abilities.

  • Sound knowledge of expense and vendor management.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

  • Knowledge of e-PADS (e-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System) or other public procurement regulatory platforms in Pakistan is considered a significant asset.
