NBP is currently inviting applications for the following senior leadership position:

  • Divisional Head – Strategy, Risk & Governance (SVP / EVP)

  • Location: Karachi

  • Reporting To: Group Chief – ITG / Deputy Chief Technology Officer


General Eligibility & Qualification Criteria

To be considered for this executive-level IT role, candidates must meet the following professional benchmarks:

Educational Background

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Alternatively, a Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent.

  • All degrees must be from a local or international university recognized by the HEC of Pakistan.

  • Candidates with relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, CRISC, or TOGAF) will be highly preferred.

Professional Experience

  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in the IT field.

  • At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role specifically covering IT Governance, IT Risk, Compliance, Audit, or Internal Controls.

  • Proven proficiency in tools and frameworks relevant to IT Strategy and Enterprise Architecture.

Core Expertise & Skills

  • Strategic Planning: Ability to design and sustain IT Strategy and Enterprise Architecture frameworks aligned with business objectives.

  • Risk Management: Expertise in IT Risk Management, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, and integration with Enterprise Risk Management (ERM).

  • Governance & Compliance: Proven capability in developing IT compliance programs and establishing centralized control frameworks.

  • Financial & Resource Management: Experience in IT budget management, resource demand planning, and expenditure controls.

  • Leadership: Strong communication skills to articulate IT value to stakeholders and experience in managing IT-related HR matters and workforce governance.
