Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following baseline requirements to be considered for the role:

Education & Qualification: Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international University, College, or Institute recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.

Preferred Education: Candidates holding a Master’s degree, an Islamic Banking certification, or a relevant degree/diploma will be given preference.

Age Limit: Maximum 28 years (as of the last date of application submission).

Experience: Candidates with one (01) year of relevant banking experience are preferred. However, fresh graduates are also highly encouraged to apply.
Outline of Main Duties and Responsibilities
Selected officers will handle a dynamic portfolio of responsibilities centered on product innovation, compliance, and strategic conversion. Key duties include:

Assisting in product development, conversion research, and internal bank requirement alignment alongside best domestic and international market practices.

Designing and developing new, innovative Islamic banking products based on customer and market needs to maximize bank revenues.
-
Drafting policies, product manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), legal documentation, and training materials, while assisting in securing approvals from relevant authorities.
-
Reviewing and ensuring that all products strictly align with approved underlying contracts, product features, documentation, and process flows.
-
Revamping and converting conventional banking products in line with NBP’s overarching conversion strategy.

Developing Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Change Requests (CRs), User Manuals, and Test Scripts according to approved bank policies.

Assisting with the exposure draft of SBP / IFSB / PBA and offering feedback from an Islamic product perspective.

Conducting product-related training sessions for branch network and head office staff.
-
Monitoring operations to ensure audits yield no major adverse comments within the designated area of responsibility.

Ensuring all processes are executed efficiently and completed within the specified Turn Around Time (TAT).

Maintaining strict compliance with Banking Laws, Regulations, Banking Instructions, and SOPs, with a core focus on Shariah Compliance across all tasks.

Performing any additional assignments delegated by supervisor(s).
Core Knowledge and Competencies

Sound understanding of banking products, operational policies, and procedures.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.

Strong, fundamental knowledge of Islamic Banking principles.

Good command over the MS Office suite, specifically Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
