The bank is inviting applications from qualified, motivated, and experienced professionals for the position of Departmental Head – Electrical (AVP / VP). This role offers an excellent opportunity to manage complex engineering projects, oversee electrical operations, and lead a dedicated team across various branch networks and regional offices.

Position: Departmental Head – Electrical (AVP / VP)

• Reporting To: Wing Head – Engineering (North)

• Educational Qualification:

  • Minimum B.E. and / or B.Tech. (Electrical / Electronics) from an HEC-recognized local or international university / college / institute.

  • Candidates holding a Master's degree and / or relevant certifications will be preferred.

• Experience Required:

  • Minimum 06 years of relevant experience in the engineering/electrical field.

  • Candidates with prior work experience in the banking or financial sector will be given preference.

• Required Skills & Expertise:

  • Solid working knowledge in project estimation, billing, and project execution.

  • Ability to multitask effectively across cross-functional teams.

  • Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills combined with sound business acumen.

  • Time management proficiency and mastery of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and submit requests for proposals regarding electrical work, equipment repair, maintenance, renovation, and construction projects.

  • Lead and guide the electrical department team to meet assigned project goals and targets.

  • Ensure strict compliance with project timelines and allocated budgets.

  • Monitor procurement and bidding processes for electrical works in line with PPRA rules and NBP guidelines.

  • Supervise operations and maintenance of backup power systems including generators, UPS, DBs, and solar systems across branches and offices.

  • Verify vendor invoices and payments for electrical services promptly.

Terms & Conditions

• Employment Type: The position is offered on a contractual basis for three (3) years, which may be renewed at the sole discretion of the Management.

• Compensation: Selected candidates will receive a competitive compensation package and benefits in accordance with the Bank's policies and rules.

• Posting Location: The position is based in Islamabad.

• Shortlisting & Interviews: Only candidates meeting the basic eligibility criteria will be shortlisted and invited for panel interviews.

• Travel Allowance: No TA / DA will be provided for attending the interview.
