The appointed Divisional Head – Payment Services (SVP / EVP) will report directly to the Group Chief – Operations Group and lead comprehensive back-office operational strategies. This leadership role focuses on managing complex financial operations, optimizing payment delivery, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving digital automation across key operational divisions.

Position: Divisional Head – Payment Services (Senior Vice President / Executive Vice President - SVP / EVP)

• Reporting To: Group Chief – Operations Group

• Location: Karachi

• Educational / Professional Qualification:

  • Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan.

  • Candidates possessing a Master's degree from an HEC-recognized institution will be preferred.

• Experience Required:

  • Minimum 15 years of overall banking experience.

  • At least 05 years of experience as Head and / or one level down to Head of Corporate Operations, Transaction Banking, or Payment Services related areas (e.g., Treasury, Foreign Remittances, Payments & RTGS, or Cash Management).

• Required Skills & Expertise:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven team management and strategic leadership abilities with experience managing large executive cadres.

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive working style.

  • In-depth knowledge of prudential regulations related to Operations, particularly RTGS, Cash Management products, Foreign Exchange Remittances, and Treasury.

• Key Outline of Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end back-office operations for Corporate Banking, Treasury, Trade, Payments, Collections, Clearing, Remittance, RTGS, and Cash Management.

  • Collaborate with Corporate, Treasury, and Business Heads to align operational plans, strategy, policies, and targets.

  • Lead automation initiatives in coordination with the IT team to improve turn-around time (TAT) and enhance process efficiency.

  • Conduct departmental audits, identify risk areas, and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and Bank policies.

  • Mentor and coach direct reports to foster a high-performance operations culture.

Terms & Conditions

• Employment Type: The position is offered on a contractual basis for three (3) years, renewable at the sole discretion of the Management.

• Compensation & Benefits: Selected candidates will receive a competitive compensation package and benefits structured according to Bank policy and rules.
