National Grid Company (NGC) Pakistan Jobs 2026 for Chief Operating Officer (COO) Via ENI
Executives Network International (ENI) is seeking a visionary and highly experienced leader for the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at the National Grid Company (NGC) of Pakistan. This is a pivotal executive role based in Lahore, responsible for the strategic development and operational excellence of Pakistan’s national high-voltage transmission network.
Role Overview
The COO serves as the single accountable executive for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the national grid. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will integrate long-term asset planning with day-to-day grid operations and capital project execution.
Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership: Lead national transmission system availability, safety performance, and incident response.

Strategic Planning: Develop strategies aligned with the National Transmission Plan and system demand forecasts.

Asset Management: Oversee Asset Planning, Engineering, and Field O&M, balancing CAPEX and O&M to maximize value.

Modernization & Innovation: Drive initiatives in SCADA, digital substations, predictive analytics, and renewable energy integration.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations meet NEPRA performance and technical standards.

Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary interface for outage planning and coordinate with external sector participants.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Candidates must demonstrate a high level of technical expertise and executive presence:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred). A Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Power Systems is highly desirable.

Experience: Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in power sector operations, transmission systems, or large-scale infrastructure organizations.

Leadership: Significant experience in senior leadership roles within the utility or energy sector.

Skills: Strong financial acumen, regulatory knowledge, risk management, and a digital-first mindset.
