HRSG Search & Advisory has published a career opportunity on behalf of its client, National Grid Company of Pakistan Limited (NGC). Applications are invited from highly experienced legal professionals for the senior executive position of Director General (Legal) based at the company's Head Office in Lahore. The incumbent will lead, manage, and supervise the organization's entire legal and litigation functions, safeguard corporate interests, and advise senior leadership and the Board.

Terms & Conditions

• Educational Qualification: LLB (minimum 2nd Division) from a recognized university is mandatory. LLM or a higher law degree from a recognized (preferably foreign) university and enrollment as an Advocate of the High Court / Supreme Court will be preferred.

• Work Experience: Minimum 15 years of post-qualification experience in litigation, legal practice, or legal affairs, including substantial experience handling cases before superior courts. At least 3 years of experience must be in a senior legal management role within a public-sector organization, regulatory body, corporation, or large law firm.

• Fit & Proper Criteria: Applicants must meet the Fit & Proper Criteria under Schedule-IV of the State-Owned Enterprises Act, 2023.

• Age Limit: Maximum 45 years on the closing date of applications.

• Nature of Employment: The position is offered on a contract basis with a lumpsum pay package.

• Location & Travel: Based at NGC Head Office in Lahore; may require travel and extended working hours as needed.
