The NTC is responsible for implementing trade defense laws under the Anti-Dumping Duties Act, Countervailing Duties Act, and Safeguard Measures Ordinance in conformity with WTO Agreements. It also advises the Federal Government on Customs Tariffs to improve the competitiveness of domestic industry.

Contract Duration: Positions are initially offered on a contract basis for a period of one to three (01-03) years. Extension may be granted on a yearly basis depending on performance evaluation and necessity.

Salary Package: Selected candidates will be offered a lump-sum salary (including all) on an initial offer. This will serve as the base salary for annual increments, featuring a 05% to 15% increase in base salary annually based on satisfactory performance.

Document Verification: Candidates are required to present original and attested copies of all relevant documents during the hiring process. Provision of false, forged, or fake information will result in cancellation of candidature and legal action.

Interview Selection: Only short-listed candidates who strictly meet the eligibility criteria will be called for an interview by the Selection / Interview Committee at Islamabad. No TA/DA is admissible for appearing in the interview.
