The National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD), Karachi, has announced exciting career and training opportunities through its Medical Education Department. Applications are invited from eligible healthcare professionals across Pakistan for specialized training roles in the Stroke Unit at NICVD Karachi.

These full-time medical training positions are designed to enhance clinical expertise and career growth in neurology within a premier cardiac institute. Eligible candidates meeting the qualifying criteria are encouraged to submit their applications online before the official deadline.

Terms & Conditions

• Eligibility & Selection: Selection will be strictly on a merit basis, open to candidates across Pakistan.

• Employment Commitment: All positions are full-time training positions. Trainees are not permitted to work with any other organization during the program, except for TRMO (Tier – I & II).

• Government Employees: Candidates working in government sectors must apply through the proper channel and provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of the interview.

• Foreign Candidates: Foreign applicants must possess a valid Student Visa alongside a valid PMDC certificate.

• Fees & Stipend: Application processing and admission fees will be applicable as per PGME NICVD policies. Stipends will be granted in accordance with NICVD standard guidelines.

• Interview & Travel Allowance: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for tests/interviews. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the selection process.

• Commencement: Joining for selected candidates will begin in September 2026.
