Applicants from across Pakistan with valid PMDC registration and required qualifications in cardiology, cardiac surgery, anesthesia, and related specialties are invited to apply for these structured training programs.

Department of Adult Cardiology

• FCPS Postgraduate Trainee: MBBS, House Job, Valid PMDC, FCPS-I with IMM training completed (IMM passed preferred); Duration: 03 Years.

• Diploma in Cardiology PG Trainee: MBBS, House Job, Valid PMDC; Duration: 02 Years.

• Clinical Fellow: MBBS, House Job, Valid PMDC, FCPS Cardiology training completed; Duration: 01 Year.

• TRMO – (Tier I): MBBS, House Job, Valid PMDC; Duration: 01 Year.

• TRMO – (Tier II): MBBS, House Job, Valid PMDC, MD/Diploma in Cardiology trained or qualified; Duration: 01 Year.

Department of Interventional Cardiology

• FCPS CTA: MBBS, House Job, Valid PMDC, FCPS-I with IMM training completed; Duration: 03 Years.

• FCPS Postgraduate Trainee: MBBS, House Job, Valid PMDC, FCPS-I (Anesthesia) Qualified; Duration: 02 Years.

• Clinical Fellow: MBBS, House Job, Valid PMDC, FCPS Anesthesia training completed; Duration: 01 Year.

• TRMO – (Tier II): MBBS, House Job, Valid PMDC, MD/MCPS/Diploma in Anesthesia trained or qualified; Duration: 01 Year.

Terms & Conditions

• Merit & Scope: Selection will be purely on merit from all over Pakistan.

• Full-Time Commitment: All courses are full-time training positions; candidates cannot work with any other organization during training (except TRMO Tier-I & II).

• Stipend & Fees: Stipend will be paid as per NICVD policies. Application processing fee and admission fee are applicable.

• Government Servants & Foreigners: Government employees must apply through proper channels with an NOC. Foreign applicants must possess a valid Student Visa and valid PMDC certificate.

• TA/DA: No TA/DA is admissible for appearing in test/interview.

• Commencement: Training will start from January 2027.
