The Office of the Vice Chancellor, Nishtar Medical University & Hospital, Multan has announced exciting career opportunities for nursing professionals. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the appointment of Charge Nurses on a lump-sum pay package. These positions are on a contract basis for a period of three years (extendable) for newly established health facilities in Multan.

These facilities include the "Construction of Building of 100-bedded Cancer Center at Nishtar Hospital, Multan" and the "Provision of PET Scan & Cyclotron Machine at Nishtar Hospital, Multan". Male and female applicants possessing a Punjab domicile and meeting the required nursing qualification criteria can apply for these government medical sector vacancies.

Terms & Conditions

• Domicile Eligibility: Both Male and Female applicants having a domicile in the Province of Punjab may apply.

• Employment Basis: Appointments shall be made on a Contract Basis under the "Contract Appointment Policy 2004 (amended till date) & Recruitment Policy, 2022" initially for a period of three (03) years, extendable subject to good performance.

• Recruitment Policy: Recruitment shall be made strictly on merit in accordance with the policies and instructions issued from time to time by the Government of the Punjab. Quotas shall be observed as per Recruitment Policy, 2022.

• Age & Experience Calculation: The age and experience of the candidate will be calculated based on the last date of submission of applications. Age relaxation in the upper age limit will be dealt with as per latest notifications by the Government of the Punjab S&GAD & Recruitment Policy, 2022.

• Educational Recognition: Only degrees issued by HEC recognized universities/institutes or reputed foreign universities will be considered acceptable. For 'O' and 'A' Level qualifications, an equivalence certificate must be submitted.

• Special Persons: Disabled persons must attach proof of registration from the Social Welfare Department along with a Disability Certificate.

• Government Servants: Candidates already in Government service should apply through the proper channel.

• Original Documents: Candidates must bring all original degrees/diplomas and provide original documents at the time of Scrutiny / Interview, otherwise, they will not be allowed to appear.

• Disqualification: The submission of fake documents or concealment of facts will lead to disqualification at any stage of the recruitment process or during active service.

• NMU Rights: The department reserves the right to cancel, increase, or decrease the number of posts at any level/stage without assigning any reason.

• TA/DA: No TA / DA will be given for the interview.

1. Obtain Form: Download the prescribed application Performa available on the official website of the institute at www.nmu.edu.pk.

2. Prepare Application: Fill out the form properly. Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate applications for each post.

3. Attach Documents: Enclose two attested copies of educational qualifications, certificates, documents, testimonials (Matric, F.Sc, Midwifery, B.Sc Nursing Generic / Diploma in General Nursing along with transcripts), experience certificates, domicile, passport-size photographs, CNIC, and a valid registration from the Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC).

4. Envelope Details: Clearly mention the serial number, name of the post, and specific project/facility applied for on the upper right side of the envelope.

5. Submission: Address the package to the Vice Chancellor, Nishtar Medical University & Hospital, Multan. Applications should reach the office by post, registered dak, courier service, or by hand during official office hours.
