Office of the Vice Chancellor, Nishtar Medical University (NMU), Multan, has announced career opportunities for lump sum pay package positions under contract appointment rules. The recruitment is being conducted for two newly established health projects at Nishtar Hospital Multan: "Provision of PET Scan & Cyclotron Machine" and "Construction of Building of 100-bedded Cancer Center". Qualified candidates holding a Punjab domicile are invited to submit their applications.

List of Vacancies & Eligibility Details

PET Scan & Cyclotron Machine Project

• (01 Senior Nuclear Medicine Physician): MBBS with FCPS/MD/MRCP/American Board in Nuclear Medicine & 3 years exp OR post-grad in General Surgery/Medicine + 3 years practical exp; Age 30–50 Yrs.

• (01 Nuclear Medicine Physician): MBBS with FCPS/MD/MRCP/American Board in Nuclear Medicine OR post-grad in General Surgery/Medicine + 3 years practical exp; Age 25–45 Yrs.

• (02 Medical Physicist): M.Sc. (Physics) 2nd Division or equivalent qualification from an HEC recognized university; Age 21–28 Yrs.

• (02 Electric Medical Equipment Engineer): B.Sc. / BS Engineering (2nd Div) in Electrical, Electronics, Biomedical, or Mechatronics with PEC registration; Age 21–28 Yrs.

• (06 Technologist Nuclear Medicine): B.Sc. (Hons) Nuclear Medicine Tech / BS Nuclear Medicine Tech (4 yrs) OR B.Sc. Radiography & Imaging Tech; Age 21–28 Yrs.

• (01 Senior Radiopharmacist): M.Phil in Pharmacy registered with PPC as Pharmacist (Register-A) with 02 years relevant experience; Age 25–32 Yrs.

• (01 Senior Radiochemist): M.Phil in Radiochemistry, Chemistry, or Pharmaceutical Chemistry with 02 years relevant experience; Age 25–32 Yrs.

• (01 Cyclotron Engineer): B.Sc. / BS Engineering (16 yrs education) in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Biomedical with PEC registration (2 yrs exp preferred); Age 21–30 Yrs.

• (01 Radiopharmacist): Pharm-D or equivalent qualification from an HEC recognized university and registered with PPC (Register-A); Age 21–28 Yrs.

• (01 Radiochemist): M.Sc. / BS (16 yrs education) in Radiochemistry, Chemistry, or Pharmaceutical Chemistry; Age 21–28 Yrs.

• (01 Radiopharmacy Technologist): BS (Hons) 2nd Div in Chemistry OR Pharm-D with registration as Pharmacist with PPC; Age 21–28 Yrs.

100-bedded Cancer Center Project

• (01 Senior Health Physicist): MS or BS in Medical Physics / Physical Sciences with 05 years relevant experience; Age 28–45 Yrs.

Terms & Conditions

• Domicile & Selection: Both male and female applicants possessing Punjab domicile are eligible; appointments will be strictly on merit under the Contract Appointment Policy 2004 (amended till date) & Recruitment Policy 2022.

• Contract Package: Appointments are offered on Lump Sum Pay Package for an initial period of 3 years (extendable subject to good performance).

• Age & Qualifications: Age and experience will be calculated as of the closing date. Equivalence certificates must be attached for O/A level degrees.

• Quotas: Disabled persons quota and other departmental quotas will be observed as per Recruitment Policy 2022.

• In-Service Candidates: Candidates already working in government service must apply through the proper channel.

• TA/DA: No TA/DA will be paid for tests or interviews.
