General Eligibility Criteria

Before submitting your application, please review the core eligibility standards required by the department:

• Age Limit: The general age bracket for applicants is 18 to 30 years. However, for the post mentioned at Serial No. 2 (HSM Electronics Technician), the age limit is 18 to 35 years.

• Age Relaxations:

  • Ex-Servicemen: Maximum age limit is extendable up to 45 years (including a copy of the military discharge certificate is mandatory).

  • Disabled Persons & Minority Candidates: Up to 10 years of relaxation in the upper age limit.

  • Candidates from Specified Regions: Individuals belonging to Sindh Rural, Balochistan, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan are eligible for a 3-year upper age relaxation.

  • Children of Deceased Government Servants: Eligible for a 5-year age relaxation if the parent died during active service.

  • Current Government / Contract Employees: Candidates with 2 years of continuous government service enjoy up to 10 years of relaxation (maximum upper age cap of 55 years).

• Educational Qualifications: Depending on the scale of the post, the minimum academic requirement ranges from a Middle School Certificate (for lower-tier mechanical roles) to an Intermediate (FA/FSc) or Matriculation with Science accompanied by relevant technical diplomas or trade skills.

• Regional & Local Quotas: Positions are distributed across regional quotas including Sindh Rural, KPK, and Merit. Lower-tier positions (BPS-04) are explicitly reserved for local residents of Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Rahim Yar Khan, Lodhran, Vehari, and Dera Nawab Sahib.
