The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is responsible for promoting and developing the game of cricket in Pakistan and maintaining overall control and governance of the sport across the country. PCB is seeking a highly qualified, dynamic, and experienced professional for a senior leadership role to drive cricket facility infrastructure across Pakistan.

• Position: Director Infrastructure & Projects

  • Role Summary: Responsible for planning, developing, and executing PCB's infrastructure strategy while ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of Infrastructure Projects. The role plays a key part in developing modern cricket facilities and supporting infrastructure ecosystems across Pakistan.

  • Required Education & Experience:

    • Minimum Bachelor's degree (Civil Engineering) from a well-recognized university.

    • Minimum 20 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in large-scale infrastructure, construction, or project management environments.

    • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and complex projects.

    • Well versed with PPRA rules & regulations.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Review and authorize claims, invoices, change orders, and variation requests in accordance with approved policies and procedures.

    • Ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets and obtain necessary approvals for any budget variations.

    • Ensure that all operations run with legality and conformity to established regulations.

    • Assist in troubleshooting construction issues.

    • Ensure all materials used for work performed are as per specifications and consultants' recommendations.

    • Maintain complete and accurate project documentation and records.

    • Remain informed of emerging developments, technologies, and best practices relevant to infrastructure and project management.

    • Manage and monitor the overall progress of projects.

  • Competency Requirements:

    • Strong leadership, project management, and decision-making capabilities.

    • High levels of integrity, professionalism, discretion, and interpersonal effectiveness.

    • In-depth knowledge of engineering policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.

    • Strong negotiation skills and ability to effectively manage contractors, consultants, and vendors.

    • Comprehensive knowledge of engineering standards, construction methodologies, regulatory requirements, and project governance frameworks.
