The Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC), a premier state-owned enterprise under the Ministry of Energy, has announced new job openings for experienced professionals. PMDC is seeking dedicated individuals for its Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and Environment departments on an open contract basis.

Available Positions & Eligibility Criteria

PMDC is currently hiring for the following three key roles. All positions require a minimum of 16 years of education.

Detailed Job Profiles

1. Assistant Manager – HSE

• Education: Bachelors in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or Masters in Health & Safety with NEBOSH-IGC or equivalent.

• Key Responsibilities: Implementing HSE & Sustainability programs, conducting safety inductions and toolbox talks, performing daily site inspections, and managing incident reporting.

2. Deputy Manager – Environment

• Education: Bachelors in Environmental Engineering or Masters in Environmental Sciences. EMS Lead Auditor Certification is mandatory.

• Key Responsibilities: Developing Environmental Management Programs, managing GHG emissions and waste, monitoring environmental KPIs, and ensuring compliance with ESG frameworks (GRI, UNGC, SASB).

3. Manager – HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment)

• Education: Bachelors in Mining, Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering. Must hold international certifications like CSP or NEBOSH Diploma.

• Key Responsibilities: Leading corporate HSE functions, developing risk-based OHS&E programs, improving the Corporate HSE Manual, and overseeing organization-wide safety training and audits.
