The Ministry of Defence Production, through Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) at Wah Cantt, Havelian Cantt, and Sanjwal Cantt, invites applications from creative, qualified, and energetic professionals for a range of contract-based positions. The initial contract is for 2 years, extendable based on performance evaluation.
The Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF), under the Ministry of Defence Production, is offering diverse job opportunities on a contract basis initially for 2 years, extendable based on performance. These openings span technical, medical, administrative, and support roles across Wah Cantt, Havelian Cantt, and Sanjwal Cantt. Medical positions include Specialists in Emergency Medicine and Urology (BPS-18) requiring MBBS, FCPS/Postgraduate Diplomas, and 3 years of post-qualification experience, while Medical Officers (BPS-17) require an MBBS degree. Technical and engineering roles such as Assistant Manager Technical, Chemical, and Admin (BPS-17) need a BSc/BS in relevant engineering fields or MBA/MPA with up to 30 years of age limit. Assistant Programmers (BPS-17) require a BS in CS/IT/Software Engineering, and Technical Officers (Boiler - BPS-16) need a DAE with a Class-I Boiler Certificate. Other technical roles include MRI Technicians (BS in Medical Imaging), Assistant Technical Officers (Boiler - BPS-14), and Chargemen in Chemical, Civil, Engineering, and Fire Fighting (BPS-12).
Clerical roles such as U.D.C (BPS-11) and L.D.C (BPS-9) require intermediate/matric with typing speeds of 30 w.p.m, while Draughtsmen (BPS-10) need a technical certificate with 2 years of experience. Other roles include Data Control Supervisors, Godown Keepers, Midwives (Registered or LHV), Security Guards (Ex-servicemen preferred), Drivers (HTV License required), and a variety of support staff such as Mali, Aya, Cooks, Sanitary Attendants, Naib Qasid, and Labourers (I & II) with primary to matric-level education.
Most positions have a maximum age limit of 25–35 years, with quotas based on merit and regional allocation (Punjab, KPK, Sindh, Balochistan, Ex-FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan, AJK).
