Pakistan Railways Headquarters Office Lahore Jobs 2026 for Carriage & Wagon and Mechanical Loco Department 

Pakistan Railways, Headquarters Office, Lahore, has announced job vacancies for retired supervisory staff from the Carriage & Wagon and Mechanical Loco Department on a contract basis for a period of one year (extendable for another year if required). Suitable retired employees who meet the physical fitness standards and age limit of 62 years are invited to apply.

Carriage & Wagon Department

• ( 01 ) TXR/G-III - BPS-14, DAE/Mechanical, 20 years experience in Rolling Stock repair maintenance field.

• ( 02 ) Foreman/Gr-I - BPS-14, DAE/Mechanical, 20 years experience in Rolling Stock repair maintenance field.

• ( 06 ) TXR/Gr-II - BPS-12, DAE/Mechanical, 10 years experience in relevant field.

• ( 08 ) Sub Engineer -II / Senior Chargeman - BPS-12, DAE/Mechanical, 10 years experience in relevant field.

• ( 01 ) Mistry - BPS-09, Middle, 10 years experience in relevant field.

• ( 03 ) Skilled (C&W Fitter, Coach Builder, Welder) - BPS-06, Middle, 10 years experience in relevant field.

Loco Department

• ( 04 ) Foreman/Gr-I & Electrical Foreman/Diesel Gr-I - BPS-14, DAE/Mechanical, 10 years experience in relevant field.

• ( 07 ) AFO/Sr. Chargeman, AEFO Diesel & FIC - BPS-12, DAE/Mechanical, 10 years experience in relevant field.

• ( 04 ) JCM & S.E E Diesel - BPS-11, DAE/Mechanical, 10 years experience in relevant field.

• ( 03 ) Misrty Mech: & Elect Diesel - BPS-09, Middle, 10 years experience in relevant field.

• ( 06 ) Skilled Wireman Diesel & Fitter Mech: & Electrical Diesel - BPS-06, Middle, 10 years experience in relevant field.

Terms and Conditions

• Only retired employees who worked in the specified categories are eligible for contract appointment.

• The contract period is for one year and can be extended further for one year if required.

• Selected retired employees must pass a medical fitness examination from the Pakistan Railways Hospital only.

• No TA/DA will be provided for interviews or medical examinations.

• Employees compulsorily removed, dismissed, or retired on medical grounds are not eligible.

• Selected retired employees will draw salary in BS-06, BS-09, BS-11, BS-12, or BS-14 based on their last pay drawn along with usual allowances, with no entitlement to gratuity and pension distribution.

• Postings will be anywhere within the entire Railway System.

• The Competent Authority reserves the right to reject applications or modify the number of posts without assigning any reason.

Documents Required

• Typed applications along with a complete database, attested copies of educational certificates, computerized National Identity Card, railway retired identity card or experience certificate, photocopy of PPO, photocopy of LPC, service certificate, and three fresh passport-size photographs.

• Three postal envelopes with a RAD card and complete address/cell number written on them.

• Postal orders worth Rs 500 as a processing fee.
