Eligibility Criteria & Quota

Pakistan Railways has allocated specific quotas for different categories to ensure fair recruitment:

• Open Merit: 60%

• Sons of Railway Employees: 20% (Includes 2% for deceased employees' sons; Railway Cards mandatory).

• Ex-Servicemen: 10% (Certificate required).

• Orphans: 05% (Father’s Death Certificate from NADRA required).

• Minorities (Non-Muslims): 05%

Domicile Requirements

Age Limit (Relaxation Included)

• General: 18–25 years + 5 years general relaxation (Total: 30 years).

• Scheduled Castes/Buddhist/FATA/GB/AJ&K: Additional 3 years relaxation.

• Ex-Servicemen: Relaxed up to 15 years or actual years served (whichever is less).

• Govt. Servants (2 years service): 10 years additional relaxation.

• Children of Deceased Civil Servants: 5 years additional relaxation.
