Quota Distribution

The recruitment will follow these specific percentage allocations:

• Open Merit: 60%

• Son of Railway Employees: 20% (including retired or deceased employees)

• Ex-Servicemen: 10%

• Orphans/Destitute: 5%

• Minorities (Non-Muslim): 5%

 

Eligibility and Age Limits

• General Age Limit: 18 to 25 years + 5 years general relaxation (Total: 30 years) as of March 16, 2026.

• Ex-Servicemen: Maximum age limit is 45 years or up to 15 years of relaxation, whichever is less.

• Federal/Civil Servants: Candidates with 2 years of continuous service are eligible for a 10-year age relaxation.

• Widow/Children of Deceased Employees: Eligible for an additional 5-year relaxation during their service period.

 

How to Apply

1. Application Form: Use the format provided at the bottom of the advertisement.

2. Documents Required: Attach attested copies of:

   • Educational Certificates/Degrees

   • C.N.I.C.

   • Domicile

   • Character Certificate

   • Three Passport-sized photographs ($1 \times 1$ inch)

   • Discharge Certificate (for Ex-Servicemen)

   • Proof of Relation (for Railway Employee quota)

3. Submission Fee: Attach a Postal Order of Rs. 500/- made out to the Assistant Personnel Officer (P.R) Rawalpindi.

4. Submission Address: Send the completed application to the Assistant Personnel Officer, Pakistan Railways, Divisional Superintendent Office, Rawalpindi.

5. Envelopes: Include four (04) self-addressed envelopes with the application.

6. Deadline: All applications must reach the office by March 16, 2026.

 

Selection Process Notes

• Candidates already in government service must apply through the proper channel and provide an N.O.C..

• Incomplete applications or those received after the deadline will not be considered.

• No TA/DA will be paid for tests or interviews.

• Final selection is subject to medical fitness and security clearance.
