Pakistan Railways Jobs 2026: Latest Vacancies in Lahore Division

The Pakistan Railways Divisional Office, Lahore has announced several contract-based job opportunities for the recruitment of C-Class Apprentices and operational staff. These positions are open to candidates residing within the territorial jurisdiction of the Lahore Division.

Successful candidates will undergo prescribed training and must be declared medically fit by the Divisional Medical Officer.

 

List of Pak Railway Vacancies:

• 05 Carpenter SPS-06 (Matric with one year diploma / certificate)
• 05 Welder SPS-06 (Matric with one year diploma / certificate)
• 20 Fitter SPS-06 (Matric with one year diploma / certificate)
• 111 Pointsman SPS-05 (Matric 2nd Division)
• 130 Gateman SPS-02 (Middle)

 

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

• General Age: 18–25 years (plus 5 years general relaxation).

• Ex-Service Men: Upper age limit relaxed to the extent of service rendered or 15 years, whichever is less.

• Scheduled Castes/Buddhist Community: 3 years additional relaxation.

• Government Servants (2 years continuous service): 10 years relaxation.

• Son of Deceased Civil Servant (died during service): 5 years additional relaxation.

 

Domicile Requirements

Candidates must belong to the following districts/tehsils:

• Lahore, Okara, Sahiwal, Kasur, Pak Pattan, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Qila Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib, Hafizabad, Chiniot, Jhang, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Sialkot, and Narowal.

 

Recruitment Quota

• Open Merit: 60% (Disable quota applies to selected categories).

• Son of Railway Employee: 20%.

• Ex-Service Man: 10%.

• Orphans / Minority: 5% each.
