Terms & Conditions

Applicants must review the eligibility criteria and contract rules before applying:

• Age Limit: The maximum age limit for applicants is 62 years.

• Eligibility Streams:

  • Retired officials from the post of Sub Engineer Signal (BS-11) or Signal Inspector (BS-16) in Pakistan Railways with Matric or DAE qualifications.

  • OR DAE (Diploma of Associate Engineering) holders in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecom with more than 3 years of experience in a Railway Signaling Project.

• Salary & Allowances: Selected individuals will draw a salary based on their last pay drawn along with usual allowances admissible under the contract rules. They will not be entitled to fresh gratuity and pension distribution.

• Contract Duration: Initially for a period of one year, extendable for another year based on satisfactory performance and requirements.

• Medical Fitness: Candidates must pass a medical fitness examination conducted exclusively by a Pakistan Railways Hospital.

• Ineligibility: Individuals who were compulsorily removed, dismissed from service, or retired on medical grounds are not eligible to apply.

• Posting Location: Selected personnel can be posted anywhere across the entire Railway System.

• TA/DA: No TA/DA will be paid for the interview or medical examination.
