Government of Pakistan, Pakistan Railways has announced new career opportunities at the Locomotive Factory, Risalpur. Applications are invited from eligible candidates residing in the civil districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) province for contract-based appointments.

These positions are for C-Class Apprentices and essential operational categories within the Mechanical Loco Department. Successful candidates will receive specialized training upon being declared medically fit.

  • Number of Posts: 02

  • Requirement: Matric (2nd Division) plus a one-year technical certificate in the relevant trade.

• Welder (BPS-06)

  • Number of Posts: 05

  • Requirement: Matric (2nd Division) plus a one-year technical certificate in the relevant trade.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit:

• General Age Limit: 18 to 25 years.

• General Age Relaxation: +5 years (Total 30 years).

• Additional relaxations apply for Ex-servicemen, Scheduled Castes, Government Servants, and children of deceased civil servants as per government policy.

Recruitment Quota:

• Open Merit (including 2% for children of deceased employees): 60%

• Son of Railways Employee: 20%

• Ex-Service Men: 10%

• Orphans (non-railway): 05%

• Minorities: 05%

• Educational Certificates and Technical Diplomas.

• Character Certificate.
