The Office of the Divisional Superintendent, Pakistan Railways Multan, has officially announced fresh job opportunities for candidates residing within the Civil Districts under the territorial jurisdiction of the Multan Division. Terms & Conditions

• Ineligibility: Please note that Disable and Women categories are not eligible for these specific positions. Furthermore, candidates convicted of offenses involving moral turpitude or dismissed from any Central or Provincial Government department are ineligible.

• Prescribed Recruitment Quotas:

  • Open Merit: 60%

  • Son of Railway Employees: 20% (includes 2% children of deceased employees who died during active service). Only sons are eligible for this quota, and an affidavit along with a relationship certificate is mandatory.

  • Ex-Serviceman: 10%

  • Orphan / Destitute: 05% (NADRA father death certificate is mandatory)

  • Minorities (Non-Muslim): 05%

• Age Limits (Relaxable up to 30.06.2026):

  • General Age Limit: 18 to 25 years + 5 years General Relaxation.

  • Ex-Servicemen: Relaxed to the extent of service rendered in the Armed Forces or 15 years, whichever is less.

  • Scheduled Castes / Buddhist Community: Relaxed by an additional 03 years.

  • Government Servants / Contract Employees (with 02 years continuous service): Relaxed by 10 years.

  • Son of a deceased civil servant (who died during service): Relaxed by 05 years.

• Jurisdiction Districts: Only applicants from Multan, Khanewal, Sahiwal, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan (Tehsil Liaqat pur), Muzaffargarh, Kot Addu, Layyah, Bhakkar, Mianwali (Tehsil Piplan), Taunsa, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, Lodhran, Vehari, Pakpattan, Bahawalnagar, Jhang, and Sargodha (Tehsil Sillanwali) can apply.

• Selection Process Requirements: All eligible candidates must clear a running test. Only shortlisted candidates will proceed to interviews. Final selection requires clearing a prescribed Medical Examination by the Divisional Medical Officer and getting clearance from a Security Agency.

• Expenses & Training: No traveling allowance or other expenses will be paid for the running test or interview. Successful candidates must undergo specified practical training.

How to Apply

• Step 1: Prepare your application/Bio-data and attach attested copies of the required documents: Educational Certificates (Middle Certificates must be verified/attested by the Head of School), CNIC, Domicile, Character Certificate, Discharge Certificate (for Ex-Servicemen), Relationship Certificate (for Railway Employee quota), and 03 passport-size photographs.

• Step 2: Obtain a postal order worth Rs. 550/- (Five Hundred & Fifty Rupees only) issued in the name of the Divisional Personnel Officer, Pakistan Railways Multan. Make sure to write the Postal Order Number and Date on your application/Bio-data.

• Step 3: Enclose four (04) postal envelopes containing your complete address and active mobile number. If applying for both categories, you must send separate envelopes; they cannot be processed in a single envelope.

• Step 4: Clearly mention the category of the applied position on top of the envelope.

• Step 5: Government and Railway servants must submit their applications through the proper channel along with an NOC from their department head.

• Step 6: Dispatch the completed package via registered dak (post) to the official address.
