Pakistan Railways has officially announced new job opportunities at the Divisional Office Sukkur. This recruitment drive is for operational roles on a two-year contract basis for candidates belonging to specific districts within the Sukkur Division.

The recruitment is focused on the Transportation Department under the following categories:

Eligibility Criteria

1. Age Limit

• General Age: 18–25 years + 5 years general relaxation (Total: 30 years).

• Additional Relaxations: * 3 years for Sindh Rural, Balochistan, Scheduled Castes, and Buddhist communities.

  • 10 years for Government Servants/Contract Employees (with 2 years continuous service).

  • 15 years (or service length) for Ex-Servicemen.

  • 5 years for sons of deceased Civil Servants who died during service.

2. Domicile (Eligible Districts)

Candidates must belong to the following districts/talukas:

• Sukkur, Shikarpur, Ghotki, Nawabshah, Naushahro Feroze, Sanghar (Shahdadpur only), Larkana, Dadu (Khairpur Nathan Shah & Mehar only), Jacobabad, Khairpur Mirs, Nasirabad (Dera Murad Jamali only), Jaffarabad, Boolan, Sibi (Lehri only), Rahim Yar Khan (Khanpur only), Kashmore, and Kamber Shahdadkot.

 

Recruitment Quota Breakdown

 

• Open Merit: 60%
• Son of Railway Employee: 20%
• Ex-Service Man: 10%
• Orphan (Non-Railway): 05%
• Minority: 05%

 

Required Documents

Ensure you have verified photocopies of the following:

• Educational Certificates/Degrees (Middle/Matric).

• CNIC.

• Domicile.

• Character Certificate.

• Three (03) passport-size photographs.

• Relationship Certificate (For Railway employee quota).

• Four (04) postal envelopes with your complete address and mobile number.

 

How to Apply

1. Postal Order: Attach a Postal Order of Rs. 550/- in the name of the Divisional Personnel Officer, Pakistan Railways, Sukkur.

2. Separate Applications: If applying for more than one post, send separate applications in separate envelopes.

3. Mailing: Send your application via Registered DAK or Courier only. Hand-delivered applications will not be accepted.

4. Mailing Address: > Divisional Superintendent, Pakistan Railways, DS Office Near Ayoub Gate, Sukkur.

Important Dates

• Last Date for Submission: March 30, 2026.

 

Selection Process

• Physical Test: Candidates must pass a One Mile (1.6 km) running test. Only the top 5 finishers in each shift of 50 will be considered "Passed."

• Interview: Shortlisted candidates from the running test and document scrutiny will be called for an interview.

• Medical: Final selection is subject to passing a medical examination by the Divisional Medical Officer, Sukkur.
