PIEAS Fellowships 2026: MS & Postgraduate Programs for Engineers, Scientists & Doctors

The Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS), Islamabad, has officially announced its 2026 Admissions for MS, MPhil, and PhD programs. These fellowships, sponsored primarily by the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC) and other strategic organizations like KINPOE, offer a prestigious career path with full financial coverage.

 Fellowship Benefits & Stipend

Selected fellows receive an elite support package designed to foster high-level research and professional growth:

• Monthly Stipend: Approximately Rs. 58,180/- (subject to standard deductions).

• Tuition & Fees: Full tuition fee waiver.

• Healthcare: Free indoor medical treatment for the student.

• Accommodation: Free hostel/transport facility (on availability).

• Career Path: Induction into SPS-8 as a Scientific Officer or Assistant Engineer upon successful completion (minimum CGPA 3.0/4.0), with three advance increments.

Fellowships are available across multiple high-tech disciplines at PIEAS (Islamabad) and its affiliated centers like KINPOE-C (Karachi) and NIBGE-C (Faisalabad).

Engineering	Nuclear, Electrical (Power), Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, Process, Systems, and Mineral Resource Engineering.
Sciences	Physics, Medical Physics, Radiation Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Cyber Security, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Medical	Nuclear Medicine (NM), Radiation & Medical Oncology (RMO).

 Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the fellowship scheme, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Academic Record: Preferably First Division throughout the academic career. One second division (≥ 50% marks) is allowed, except in the final degree.

• Final Degree: Minimum CGPA 2.5 out of 4.0 or First Division in the annual system for the 16-year degree.

• Age Limit (as of June 30, 2026): * 27 years for Engineers and Scientists.

  • 32 years for MBBS Doctors.

• Bond: Fellows must sign a surety bond to serve PAEC or other strategic organizations for 5 years after graduation.

 How to Apply Online

Applications are accepted exclusively through the official PIEAS portal. Hard copies are not required at this stage.

1. Register: Visit the PIEAS Admission Portal (admissions.pieas.edu.pk/)

2. Fill Form: Complete the online application with educational details and preferred disciplines.

3. Upload: Attach a recent passport-size photograph and relevant documents.

4. Fee Payment: Pay the application processing fee of Rs. 3,500/- (within due date) at any branch of Askari Bank or through online banking.

5. Submission: Finalize and submit before the March 05, 2026 deadline.
