The Search Committee appointed by the Senate of the Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (PIFD), Lahore, invites applications from accomplished, visionary, and strongly motivated academic leaders for the position of Vice Chancellor (VC). PIFD is a federally chartered public-sector degree-awarding premier institute dedicated to art and design education. The institution offers comprehensive learning programs that combine design capabilities, innovation, strategic management, and marketing skills to nurture leaders in the creative industry.

Terms & Conditions

1. Tenure of Appointment: The Vice Chancellor shall be appointed by the Chancellor for a tenure of five (05) years.

2. Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 65 years on the last date fixed for the submission of applications.

3. Qualification & Experience: Applicants should preferably hold a PhD and a first professional degree in Visual Arts and Design. Candidates will be assessed on academic leadership abilities, strategic planning, financial management, resource development, and significant evidence of administrative competence.

4. Government Employees: Candidates already in Government or Semi-Government service must apply through the proper channel.

5. Shortlisting & Selection: Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.

6. Degree Attestation: Applicants must submit HEC-attested/equivalence copies of degrees, along with documented proof of academic administration, research, and relevant achievements.
