The Government of Balochistan, Planning and Development Department has issued an official recruitment advertisement (DPRQ/PRQ No. 1186/03-09-2026) seeking applications from dynamic and result-oriented professionals. The position is available for a Project Director to lead the PSDP-funded scheme titled "Turbat City Development Project / Master Plan".

This key leadership contract position will be located in Kech, District Turbat, Balochistan. Appointment will be made in strict accordance with the Project Director's appointment policy notified by the P&D Department.

  • Number of Positions: 01

  • Location: Kech, District Turbat, Balochistan

  • Job Type: Contract basis for an initial period of two (02) years, extendable on a yearly basis subject to satisfactory performance until project completion.

  • Education: Minimum 16 years of education with specialization in a relevant field from an HEC-recognized institution in one of the following disciplines:

    • BS/BE in Engineering (with PEC registration)

    • Project Management, Public Policy, or relevant field of Social Sciences

    • MBA / MPA

    • Master's or 4-year BS degree in Economics or other relevant fields

  • Experience: Minimum ten (10) years and above of professional experience in implementation of rural and urban planning, infrastructure development, project management, and relevant experience in development projects across both public and private sectors. Must possess sound knowledge of Government of Pakistan project planning and management procedures. Relevant experience as a project director in the public sector in Balochistan is an added advantage.

  • Age Limit: Minimum 40 years to Maximum 62 years (as of the date of appointment).

Terms & Conditions

• Selection Policy: Selection will be carried out in accordance with the Project Director Appointment Policy notified by the Planning & Development Department, Government of Balochistan.

• Government Servants: Candidates currently working as government employees must apply through proper channels and submit an NOC from their parent department by the due date.

• Shortlisting: Only shortlisted candidates meeting the required qualification, documentation, and experience criteria will be called for interviews.

• Accuracy of Information: Applicants providing unsubstantial or incorrect information will face immediate disqualification.

• Authority Rights: The Department reserves the right to accept, reject, or cancel any application or the entire recruitment process at any time without notice or justification.

• TA/DA: No travel allowance or daily allowance (TA/DA) will be admissible for attending the selection process.
