The Planning and Development Department, Government of Sindh has announced a key job opportunity for the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) of the Sindh Flood Emergency Rehabilitation Project (SFERP) based in Karachi. Qualified, experienced, and dynamic professionals holding a domicile of Sindh are invited to apply for this high-level leadership role to manage critical flood rehabilitation and infrastructure development projects.

List of Vacancies and Eligibility Criteria

• (01 Project Director (PPS-09)): Master's degree in Economics, Social Sciences, or a related discipline with at least 20 years of total experience, including a minimum of 10 years working with international organizations, the World Bank, or UN agencies as a Project Director, along with strong financial, technical, and management skills.

Terms & Conditions

• The Project Director (PPS-09) will be selected in accordance with the Government of Sindh policies.

• The selected candidate will be provided with approved terms of reference, pay packages, and perks funded by the World Bank.

• Initial appointment will be on a two-year contract basis, extendable based on project requirements and satisfactory performance.

• Candidates must possess a Sindh Domicile/PRC, and the maximum age limit is 50 years.

• In-service government or semi-government employees must apply through the proper channel, and only shortlisted candidates will be called for tests/interviews (no TA/DA admissible).
