Private Power & Infrastructure Board (PPIB), Ministry of Energy (Power Division), Government of Pakistan, has announced exciting career opportunities for project-based positions in the Project Management Unit (PMU). These posts are established for the implementation of the PSDP project — 100 MWp Distributed Solar Photovoltaic (DPV) Plants at Various Sites in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Applications are invited from qualified and experienced professionals to fill vacant project positions initially for a period of two years on a contract basis. Candidates belonging to Gilgit-Baltistan are particularly encouraged to apply.

List of Vacancies & Eligibility Details

• (02 Resident Engineer – Electrical - PPS-10): Relevant engineering degree with extensive experience in electrical DPV/solar project execution.

• (01 Resident Engineer – Civil - PPS-10): Relevant civil engineering degree with experience in site supervision and infrastructure project execution.

• (01 Contracts Expert - PPS-08): Degree in Law/Engineering/Finance with proven experience in contract administration and procurement.

• (01 Manager Administration - PPS-08): Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Public Administration with relevant administrative experience.

• (02 Assistant Resident Engineer – Electrical - PPS-07): Electrical engineering qualification with experience in solar project site supervision.

• (02 Assistant Resident Engineer – Civil - PPS-07): Civil engineering qualification with experience in site construction management.

• (01 Accountant and Cashier - PPS-07): B.Com/BBA (Finance) or equivalent with experience in accounting and financial management.

• (02 Sub-Engineer – Civil - PPS-04): DAE in Civil Engineering with relevant field experience.

• (02 Sub-Engineer – Electrical - PPS-04): DAE in Electrical Engineering with relevant technical experience.

• (04 Driver - PPS-02): Primary/Matric pass with valid driving license and driving experience.

• (04 Office Boy - PPS-01): Primary pass with basic office assistance skills.

• (04 Chowkidar - PPS-01): Primary pass with good physical health.

• (04 Helper - PPS-01): Primary pass with willingness to assist site/office staff.

Terms & Conditions

• Contract Duration: Appointments shall be purely on a contract basis, initially for a period of two (02) years, extendable subject to satisfactory performance and project requirements, but not beyond the approved project duration.

• Remuneration: Selected candidates will receive remuneration according to the applicable Project Pay Scales (PPS) approved by the Government of Pakistan without additional allowances or facilities beyond the Standard Pay Package.

• Place of Duty: Gilgit-Baltistan or any other location required for implementation of the project.

• Government Servants: Employees working in Government, Semi-Government, Autonomous Bodies, or Public Sector Organizations must apply through proper channels.

• TA/DA: No TA/DA will be admissible for test or interview.

• Special Preference: Candidates belonging to Gilgit-Baltistan are particularly encouraged to apply.
