PU Lahore Jobs 2026 for Teaching Faculty Apply Online Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology

The Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB), University of the Punjab, Lahore, has officially issued a situation vacant notice for academic positions. Applications are invited from highly qualified Pakistani nationals for appointments under both the Basic Pay Scale (BPS) and the Tenure Track System (TTS).

Positions are available in the specialized field of Molecular Biology, focusing on key research areas such as Stem Cells, Virology, Forensic, Genetic Screening, and Plant Genetic Modification. Interested researchers and academicians who meet HEC criteria are encouraged to submit their applications following the prescribed guidelines.

Terms & Conditions

• Foreign degree holders must provide an equivalence certificate issued by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

• All rules in letter and spirit of TTS Version 2.0 and BPS regulations are applicable.

• All attached academic degrees and certificates must be duly attested by HEC / IBCC.

• Candidates applying under both the BPS and TTS systems must submit separate applications along with complete documents and separate processing fee instruments for each application.

• Candidates already in service must apply through the proper channel before the due date.

• Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will not be entertained.

• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test and/or interview.

• The Centre reserves the right not to fill/withdraw any post or withhold appointment against any advertised post without assigning any reason.

How to Apply

1. Download the prescribed application form directly from the official CEMB website at www.cemb.edu.pk.

2. Prepare a Bank Draft / Pay Order drawn in favor of the Director CEMB, Lahore for the relevant non-refundable application fee:

   • Professor: Rs. 5,000/-

   • Assistant Professor: Rs. 3,000/-

3. Submit one hard copy of the completed application form along with a complete set of testimonials, research work/publications, photograph ($1\times 1$), distinction certificates, and original bank draft/pay order to the Centre's office.

4. Additionally, send a soft copy of the application for the posts of Professor and Assistant Professor, along with all supporting testimonials, submitted as a single PDF file via email to [email protected].
