The Directorate General of Archaeology, Tourism Department, Government of Punjab, has announced job vacancies for Contingent Paid Staff / Daily Wager positions for the financial year 2026–2027. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for various temporary posts across various locations in Punjab, including Lahore, Kasur, Harappa, Taxila, Sheikhupura, Multan, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, and Rohtas Fort Jhelum. Monthly wages will be paid in accordance with government-approved rate lists.

List of Vacancies

• Graduate Engineer (Locations: Head Office Lahore, Shalimar Section Lahore, Sub-Regional Office Taxila, Hiran Minar Sheikhupura, Rohtas Fort Jhelum)

• Sweeper (Locations: Kasur Museum, Harappa Museum, Sub-Divisional Office Multan)

• Mali-cum-Chowkidar (Locations: Sub-Divisional Office Bahawalpur, Harappa Museum Sahiwal)

• Mali (Location: Hiran Minar Sheikhupura)

• Driver (Location: Rohtas Fort Jhelum)

Terms & Conditions

• Permanent Status: Successful applicants will have no right to claim permanent job status or approach any court of law regarding regularization.

• Appointment Period: Appointments will initially be made for an 89-day period. Upon completion of the tenure, the contract may be extended for another 89-day period (or less) up to the end of the financial year (30-06-2027) without requiring a separate advertisement.

• Required Attestation: Attested copies of Domicile, CNIC, educational certificates, and experience certificates must be attached to the application form.

• Interview Schedule: Interviews will take place on 13-08-2026 at 2:00 PM at the Head Office: 60-A, Garden Block, Garden Town, Lahore. No separate interview calls/letters will be issued.

• No TA/DA: No Travelling Allowance (TA) or Daily Allowance (DA) will be provided for attending the interview.
