Post Details & Compensation

• Job Title: Assistant Director (Legal)

• Total Vacancies: 16 (Open Merit: 14, Women Quota: 02)

• Salary: Rs. 273,132/- per month (Lump-sum pay package)

• Nature of Job: Contract basis for 3 years (Extendable)

• Location: Anywhere in Punjab

 

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

Category	Requirement
Education	LLB degree (minimum 2nd division) from an HEC-recognized university.
Experience	Option A: 5 years of practice as an Advocate in High Court. Option B: 3 years of practice if you hold a post-graduate degree in Law (LLM).
Age Limit	Male: 30 to 45 years (includes 5 years relaxation). Female: 30 to 48 years (includes 8 years relaxation).
Gender/Domicile	Open to both Male and Female candidates with a Punjab Domicile.

The Selection Process (100 Mark Written Test)

The test will be 90 minutes long and consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs):

1. General Knowledge (25%): Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Islamic Studies, English, Urdu, Science, Math, and Computer Studies.

2. Law & Acts (75%):

   • Punjab Control of Narcotics Substances Act, 2025

   • Control of Narcotics Substances Act, 1997

   • Qanoon-e-Shahadat Ordinance, 1984

   • Pakistan Penal Code (PPC)

   • Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC)
