The Punjab Counter Narcotics Force (CNF), Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Department, Government of the Punjab, has announced a recruitment drive in Lahore exclusively for retired ex-servicemen domiciled in Punjab. This recruitment drive offers an opportunity for retired army personnel to serve in various supervisory, administrative, combat, canine, and clerical roles on a contract basis.

The recruitment tests and walk-in interviews will take place from November 2 to November 6, 2026, at Fortress Stadium, Lahore Cantt. Interested and eligible ex-servicemen across Punjab can participate by appearing directly at the venue with their complete original documents and required gear.

• Honorary Captain / Honorary Lieutenant / Subedar Major

  • Age Limit: Maximum 56 years (SM, Honorary Lieutenant/Captain who are not SSG retired).

• Subedar / Honorary Lieutenant / Captain (SSG Retired)

  • Age Limit: Maximum 53 years.

• Naib Subedar

  • Age Limit: Maximum 51 years.

• Havildar

  • Age Limit: Maximum 47 years.

• Lance Havildar / Naik

  • Age Limit: Maximum 45 years.

• Sepoy / Lance Naik

  • Age Limit: Maximum 41 years.

• Canine Sepoy / Lance Naik / Naik (GD trade preferred)

  • Age Limit: Maximum 47 years.

• Clerk (Naik, Havildar, Naib Subedar)

  • Age Limit: Maximum 52 years.

Terms & Conditions

• Eligibility: Only retired ex-military personnel domiciled in Punjab Province are eligible to apply.

• Ineligibility Criteria (Not Eligible):

  • Candidates who are overweight, overage, or under-metric.

  • Candidates whose character on their Discharge Book is not recorded as Exemplary.

  • Individuals discharged under medical category 'CEE' or invalidated out by a medical board.

  • Ex-servicemen who previously served in the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) and whose ERE was 'Poor'.

  • Personnel who retired before June 30, 2021.

  • Personnel currently on LPR or post-test status.

  • Individuals previously dismissed/terminated from Punjab CNF or declared unfit in any prior selection process.

• Physical Efficiency Test (PET): PET is mandatory and includes a 1-mile run, chin-ups, push-ups, and sit-ups. Only candidates who clear the physical test will be permitted to sit for the written examination.

• Candidates arriving late for the PET or any test will not be permitted to participate.

• If a candidate is declared ineligible at any stage, they will be disqualified immediately.

• Recruitment will be purely on a contract basis, and selected candidates can be posted to any district in Punjab.

• No accommodation, boarding, TA, or DA will be provided for attending tests/interviews.

How to Apply

1. Eligible candidates must report in person to the venue by 06:00 AM on their designated test dates:

   • November 2, 2026 (06:00 AM): Registration, PET, written exam, and psychological test for Honorary Captain, Honorary Lieutenant, Subedar Major, Subedar, Naib Subedar, Havildar, and Clerks.

   • November 3, 2026 (06:00 AM): Registration, PET, written exam, and psychological test for Sepoy, Lance Naik, Naik, Lance Havildar, and Canine Staff.

   • November 4–6, 2026 (08:00 AM): Interviews for successful/qualified candidates.

2. Venue: Fortress Stadium, Lahore Cantt.

3. Documents to Bring:

   • Original Domicile, CNIC, Discharge Certificate/Book, Army Course Reports, Medals/Awards Certificates, and detailed CV.

   • Attested photocopies of all original documents.

   • 04 recent passport-size photos, pen, PT shoes, and track suit.
