The Strategic Management Unit (SMU) is currently hiring for the following individual positions:

General Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for these strategic public sector roles, applicants must meet the following broad criteria set by the department:

1. Educational Requirements

• Higher Education: Most management and development positions require a minimum of 16 years of education (Bachelor's or Master's degree) from an HEC-recognized university in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, Graphic Design, or Law.

• Technical Roles: Technical and field-level roles require specific professional degrees, diplomas, or recognized certifications (e.g., Aviation/Electronics for drone operations, professional certifications in AI/Data Science, or PCATP registration for architects).

2. Age Limits

• Maximum Age Limit: The upper age limit varies by position, ranging generally between 35 to 40 years. Please check individual Terms of Reference (TORs) for your specific field of interest.

3. Experience & Skills

• Professional Experience: Candidates must possess relevant post-qualification experience ranging from 3 to 5 years for officer/managerial levels, and a minimum of 4 years for senior engineering/infrastructure positions.

• Core Competencies: Proficiency in specialized software relevant to the post (such as MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, GIS systems, development frameworks like Laravel/Node.js, or engineering/architectural tools) along with strong project management and communication skills is expected.
