The Centre of Excellence in Gender Studies (CEGS) at Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, has announced vacant academic positions for highly qualified faculty members. Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Assistant Professor position, candidates must meet the following Higher Education Commission (HEC) criteria:

• Qualification: Ph.D. in Gender/Women’s Studies or relevant disciplines from an HEC-recognized University/Institution is a must.

How to Apply: Application Process

Applying for QAU faculty positions involves both a processing fee and a physical application submission. Please follow these instructions carefully:

Step 1: Application Fee Payment

• For Domestic Applicants: Deposit an application fee of Rs. 2,000/- via Pay Order, Bank Draft, or Paid Challan at HBL, QAU Branch (Account No. 02940012957103) drawn in favor of Director, Centre of Excellence in Gender Studies, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad.

• For Pakistani Nationals Abroad: Send an application processing fee of US $100.

Step 2: Prepare the Dossier

Applicants must compile an application/dossier consisting of the prescribed proforma alongside attested copies of the following documents:

1. Educational degrees and certificates

2. Experience certificates

3. CNIC

4. Domicile

5. Three (3) recent passport-sized photographs

Step 3: Mailing the Application

Submit five (5) signed and bound hard copies of the application dossier along with a soft copy in PDF format to the address below.

Key Terms & Conditions

• Government Servants: Applicants currently working in Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous bodies must apply through the proper channel with an official N.O.C. (No Objection Certificate).

• Pension Scheme: For external candidates, there will be no traditional pension; instead, a contributory pension scheme will apply as per Federal Government policy.

• Selection Process: Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for a demo lecture, seminar, and interview. No TA/DA will be paid.
