The District Education Officer Lasbela, Government of Balochistan, has announced multiple vacancies for Secondary School Educators (SSE - BPS-17) on an ad-hoc basis under the approved ad-hoc staff recruitment policy of 2026. Eligible local candidates holding local/domicile certificates of District Lasbela are invited to submit their applications online through the designated official recruitment portal.

• Secondary School Teacher (Science / Physics) - BPS-17: 06 Posts (Qualification: BS/4-year degree in Physics or Master's degree in Physics from a recognized university

• Secondary School Teacher (Science / Chemistry) - BPS-17: 07 Posts (Qualification: BS/4-year degree in Chemistry or Master's degree in Chemistry from a recognized university).

• Secondary School Teacher (Science / Biology) - BPS-17: 32 Posts (Qualification: BS/4-year degree in Zoology/Botany or Master's degree in Zoology/Botany from a recognized university

• Secondary School Teacher (Science / Mathematics) - BPS-17: 20 Posts (Qualification: BS/4-year degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Engineering or Master's degree in Mathematics/Statistics from a recognized university).

• Secondary School Teacher (General / English) - BPS-17: 80 Posts (Qualification: BS/4-year degree in English or Master's degree in English from a recognized university

Important Notes Regarding Qualifications

• In case of non-availability of candidates with BS/MSc in Mathematics, candidates with BS/MSc in Physics will be considered and vice versa within the same Union Council (UC), though preference will be given to the relevant subject

• In case of non-availability of candidates with BS/MSc in Chemistry, candidates with BS/MSc in Biology will be considered and vice versa within the same UC, with preference given to the relevant subject

• Only online applications submitted via WWW.JOBS.SED.GOB.PK will be accepted for consideration.

Terms & Conditions

• Applicants must possess the local or domicile certificate of District Lasbela

• The allowable age limit is from 18 to 55 years

• Government servants must apply through the proper channel

• Recruitment is strictly on an ad-hoc basis according to the Secondary Education Department's 2026 policy, and appointees cannot claim regular status or transfer.

• Final merit lists will be compiled based on academic weightage: Matric (20%), Intermediate (20%), and Bachelor's/Master's Degree (50%), with additional marks for higher qualifications (5 marks for M.Phil/MS and 10 marks for Ph.D). Candidates must achieve a total of 50% marks to qualify.

• Incomplete applications, manual submissions, or forms submitted after the deadline will be outright rejected.
