Eligibility Criteria

 

To qualify for the Junior Clerk position, applicants must meet the following academic and technical standards:

1. Educational Qualifications

• Graduation: Must have at least a Second Division Bachelor’s degree from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

• IT Skills: A 6-month MS Office certificate from an institute recognized by the Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE).

2. Mandatory Screening Test

• Applicants must have successfully passed the General Screening Test (Graduation Category) conducted by Sukkur IBA Testing Services (STS) with a minimum of 40% marks.

• Possession of a valid STS certificate is mandatory for appointment.

3. Age Relaxation

• While the standard age limit is 21–28 years, a general upper age relaxation of 15 years applies to those who applied before specific 2024 notifications.

• For newer applicants, a 5-year age relaxation is provided as per notification dated 02-12-2025.

Important Instructions for Applicants

• Residency: Only candidates with a domicile and PRC of District Central Karachi are eligible.

• Quota: Appointments will be made according to the law and reserved quota policies of the Government of Sindh.

• NOC for Government Servants: Current government employees must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their department and present it during the interview.

• Interview: Candidates must bring original documents for the interview as per the schedule posted on the job portal. No TA/DA is admissible.
