General Eligibility Criteria

To ensure a high standard of education, the following eligibility requirements must be met by all applicants:

• Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21 and 28 years old. Note that no age relaxation is applicable under the STI policy.

• Educational Background:

  • For Senior Roles (BS-17): M.A, M.Ed, or BS (minimum 1st Division or Grade-B) in Special Education with specialization in the relevant field (Deaf, Blind, or Mentally Challenged).

  • For Junior Roles (BS-16): M.A or BS (minimum 2nd Division or Grade-C) in Special Education with the relevant specialization.

  • For Computer Teacher: BS in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or an equivalent HEC-recognized qualification.

• Technical Skill: For Visual Impairment (V.I) positions, a Certificate of Proficiency in Braille from the Directorate General of Special Education, Punjab is mandatory.

• Experience: While fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with prior teaching experience.

Terms and Monthly Honorarium

• Duration: The internship is for 09 months (excluding summer vacations).

• Monthly Honorarium:

  • BS-17: Rs. 45,000/-

  • BS-16: Rs. 40,000/-

• Nature of Job: The engagement is purely temporary and does not confer any right to regular appointment.
