The British Council Pakistan, in partnership with the Scottish Government, is offering the Scotland Pakistan Scholarships scheme for Young Women and Girls 2026–2027. This fully funded education grant aims to make higher education accessible to Pakistani women, enabling them to pursue higher studies in HEC-recognized universities across the country.

The scholarship program funds Pakistani female students enrolled in a 4-year Bachelor's degree or a 2-year Master’s degree across selected disciplines. In Pakistan, the British Council handles the administrative execution of the scheme and directly liaises with selected students and designated universities.

Terms & Conditions

• Coverage & Award Benefits:

  • Tuition fees for eligible courses.

  • Financial support for modern equipment and research for selected Master's candidates.

  • University hostel expenses (where applicable).

  • Travel expenses twice a year from home to university and back for students residing in campus hostels.

• Eligibility Criteria:

  • Available exclusively for female students/women.

  • Must be a Pakistani citizen currently residing in Pakistan.

  • Must be currently pursuing or have a confirmed admission offer for a 4-year Bachelor's or 2-year Master's degree at an HEC-recognized university in Pakistan in one of the approved subject areas.
