The Inspectorate General Sindh Prisons & Corrections Service, Karachi, has announced career opportunities for domicile holders of Sindh province. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the positions of Head Wireless Operator (BS-09) and Prison Head Constable Driver (BS-09) through the Pakistan Testing Service (PTS). Interested candidates meeting the physical and academic criteria are encouraged to submit their applications online before the deadline.

Terms & Conditions

• Domicile Eligibility: Only candidates holding a valid domicile of Sindh province are eligible to apply.

• Document Verification: Verification of original documents will be conducted exclusively for shortlisted candidates called for the interview stage. Providing false or incorrect information will result in immediate disqualification at any stage and potential departmental action.

• Government Servants: Candidates already employed in government service who meet the eligibility criteria must apply through the proper channel.

• Incomplete Applications: Applications received incomplete or after the closing date will not be entertained.

• Test Process: Only candidates who qualify the physical test will be called for the PTS written test.

• Notification of Test/Interview: Test dates, timings, venues, roll number slips, and call letters will be communicated via the PTS website and SMS.

• TA/DA: No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in physical, written tests, or interviews.

• Minority Quota: Quota reservations will be maintained according to the Sindh Government policy for minority candidates.

• Age Relaxation: No relaxation in the upper age limit will be granted.

• Position Adjustments: The Sindh Prisons & Corrections Service reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of advertised posts.

• Blurry/Unclear Photographs: Incomplete applications or those uploaded with unclear or blurry photographs will be rejected.

• Bank Deposit Slip: The deposit slip must feature a clear bank stamp, receipt number, and signature/electronic stamp.

• Posting Location: Selected candidates must undergo training and can be posted anywhere in Sindh Province.

• Medical Fitness: Final appointment is subject to obtaining a medical fitness certificate from a designated government hospital.

• Background Check: Candidates with a criminal record, forged documents, or physical disability will be declared ineligible.

How to Apply

1. Visit the official PTS website at www.pts.org.pk.

2. Download the prescribed bank deposit slip for the non-refundable registration fee of RS. 1600/- and deposit the fee at any online branch of Habib Bank Limited (HBL) nationwide.

3. Access the PTS online application portal and complete the online registration form.

4. Upload a scanned copy of the paid HBL deposit slip and a clear, recent passport-size photograph onto the PTS portal.

5. Submit the application form online; do not send hard copies of documents or forms by post/courier at this stage.
