Government of the Punjab, Special Education Department, applications are invited from suitable candidates for hiring of School Teaching Interns (STIs) against vacant teaching posts in Special Education Institutions of District Faisalabad. Fresh aspiring candidates, as well as those with teaching experience, are encouraged to apply. Men, women, and transgender persons are eligible to apply.

Terms & Conditions

• Nature of Job: Engagement shall be purely temporary, school-specific, and non-transferable.

• Tenure: Duration shall be 09 months (excluding summer vacations) during Financial Year 2026-27 or till the arrival of a regular incumbent, whichever is earlier.

• Monthly Honorarium:

  • BS-17: Rs. 45,000/- PM

  • BS-16: Rs. 40,000/- PM

  • No right of regular appointment shall be conferred.

• Performance & Attendance: Performance and attendance shall be strictly monitored by the concerned authorities.

• Termination: Engagement may be terminated on one month's notice or payment in lieu thereof.

• Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxation shall be admissible in accordance with the Punjab Delegation of Powers (Relaxation of Age) Rules, 1961, the Punjab Civil Servants Recruitment (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 1976, and instructions issued by the Government of the Punjab.

• Interview Schedule: Interviews of eligible/shortlisted candidates will take place on 31-08-2026 at 09:30 AM at the office of the Principal, Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School of Special Education for Hearing Impaired, Faisalabad. No separate call letter, SMS, or email will be issued.

• Original Documents: Candidates must produce original documents at the time of interview.

• Department Rights: The department reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.
